QR Codes are an interesting piece of technology that has had the SignIQ team buzzing for some time now. We first came across them while overseas and knowing that they would soon be the future of Australian Retail we introduced them to our clients way back in 2008 through our portfolio. While QR Codes have been widespread in some markets for years, the proliferation of smart phones and mobile broadband in recent years has also made the audience significantly greater. It has been estimated that 70% of new mobile phones purchased in 2011 will be smart-phones.  In 2011, it’s predicted that Australia will see a 30% increase in smart-phone sales.

POS Displays - what makes them work?
